The attitudes of women in the 1920’s were being remodeled, which was physically represented through their outward appearance. This new, more free style of dressing represented the independent thinking of women in the 20’s. The lively, more liberating mood of this era manifested in their cropped hair, shorter skirts, and uncorseted dresses.

  1. This collage is very aesthetically pleasing and fun to look at. I liked the variety of colors and moods in the pictures you chose. It’s interesting how you decided to focus on the flapper’s style of dress and how it represented their entire lifestyle, which you explained in your caption. Great job!
